How do I register?
Registration opens January 16, 2024 on our conference website. To receive the early bird registration rates you must register before March 1, 2024. On-line registration will close at midnight on March 22, 2024. On-site conference will open April 4, 2024, at 8:00am.
Do you offer group registrations?
The conference does not offer a group registration rate.

Can I register on-site?
Yes, on-site registration starts at 8:00am on Thursday, April 4, 2024.
How do I pay?
You can pay via credit card or check. When you register on-line there are payment options. W-9 is available upon request.
Make checks payable to Champion for Children or C4C.
Mailed checks must be post marked by March 22, 2024. Payment after March 22, 2024, will be charged a $10 late fee.

Can I submit a purchase order?
Yes. A purchase order is a promise of payment. While you may attend the conference with only a purchase order on file, it will not change the balance due for any registrant. Participants using a purchase order will be billed for full conference fees either upon receipt of the PO or immediately following the conference. Payment must be made within 5 business days of the last day of the conference. Payment due on April 19, 2024. Those with a balance due after the deadline will be subject to a monthly billing fee of $25.00. Any individual who attends the conference by using a purchase order is liable for all fees and will be personally invoiced if appropriate billing information is not provided during registration, or if payment is not received within 10 days of the last day of the Conference. If I need to cancel my registration, will I get a refund?
You are required to pay IN FULL when you complete the registration form on our website, whether or not you attend. If you are registered for the conference, we incur expenses on your behalf, and full payment is expected. If you need to cancel your conference registration, you may do so at any time.
Canceling your registration before midnight (CST)* on March 1, 2024 will guarantee you a refund, less a $50 administrative fee. After midnight on March 1, 2024, no refunds will be provided.
If you are registered as of midnight (CST) on March 22nd and have not paid, you will be billed for the full conference payment, plus a $10 dollar late payment fee. If you have paid your registration as of midnight (CST) on March 22nd and do not attend, NO REFUND will be given.
Refunds will not be paid out until after the conference.

How do I cancel my registration?
Should you need to cancel your registration for the conference, you may do so by sending an email to the conference team with your name and confirmation number.
Don't forget to cancel your hotel and travel reservations as well to avoid penalties from these sources.
How do I substitute someone in my place?
Please contact the conference team to substitute someone in your place. You can substitute someone free of charge to avoid incurring the $50 administration fee or not getting a refund.
Payment schedules apply for the substitute attendee. Payment must be paid by March 29, 2024, if paid after that date $10 late fee is required. If you make payment arrangements with the substitute attendee that is between you and the substitute attendee. If the substitute attendee pays for their conference fees and you have already paid, your refund will not be paid out until after the conference.
Can I register for individual workshops?
There is no advance selection for specific workshops. Every attendee has the same opportunity to attend sessions on a first-come, first-served basis. Once that session reaches capacity, attendees may choose another session during the time frame.
What is included in the cost of my registration? What about meals?
The registration fee covers all sessions presented at the Conference April 4-5, 2024, Social on April 4, 2024 and the Awards Luncheon on April 5, 2024. All events will be at the DoubleTree Hotel.
Are vegetarian/gluten free food options available?
We will provide a menu on the website when we have completed our luncheon selection. If you have any food allergies, please notify the conference team.
What’s the dress code?
The dress code is business casual. Please dress appropriately, and keep in mind that the conference center is often very cold. You will want to bring clothes to keep warm despite the weather outside!
How do I access handouts?
No paper copies will be provided unless the presenter provides them.
Will there be transportation for the off-site hotels to the DoubleTree Hotel?
The conference is going to be at the DoubleTree Hotel. The contract hotel is the location of the conference. The state rate is $107, call the hotel to make a reservation. There is no off site transportation. We recommend Uber or Lift if you do not have personal transportation.
Do I have to be scanned in for CEU sessions?
Everyone will sign a verification form when entering a class. You must ensure that you are signed into every class you attend. Law Enforcement must sign in with the TCOLE committee member.
How do I get my CEUs?
When class is over, a volunteer will provide you a QR code to enter the survey. After completing the survey a class certificate will be emailed to you with in ten business days after conference. At the end of the conference, please complete the overall conference survey so that we know how we can better serve you. All attendees are responsible for turning in their own hours for the conference.
How many continuing education hours will I get?
There is the possibility of earning 9 CEUs (TBD Ethics) if you attend all the classes.
